The steel wires in PE steel mesh skeleton composite pipes are used to enhance the strength and stiffness. This kind of pipe uses high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the base, copper-plated high-carbon steel wire as the reinforcement, and uses high-performance HDPE modified bonding resin to tightly connect the steel wire skeleton to the inner and outer layers of high-density polyethylene together. Then the composite pipe has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, and has higher ring stiffness and higher strength than PP-R pipe and PE-RT pipe.
